Does CheckLink upload the email I paste?
No. The email body is processed locally in your browser. Only URLs you explicitly choose to scan are sent to the scanner.
Can link text hide a different destination?
Yes. An email can display familiar text while the underlying href points to another domain.
Should I click an email link to test it?
No. Extract and inspect the URL first, then verify sensitive requests through an official channel.
Can the inspector prove an email is safe?
No. It helps extract and review links, but it does not guarantee that an email or destination is safe.
