Paid does not guarantee approval
Payment is handled manually after review. CheckLink may reject unsafe, misleading, low-quality, or unsuitable submissions.
Featured does not mean safer
Featured placement means visibility, not a stronger safety guarantee. It does not certify that a product is safer than other listings.
Badge rules
Free listings require a visible CheckLink badge before publication. Paid no-badge and featured listings do not require a badge, but they still require review.
Widget and badge misuse
Misleading use of CheckLink badges or widgets can lead to removal from the Launch Board. Badges and widgets must not imply certification, a safety guarantee, endorsement, or a completed security audit.
Removal and update policy
Listings can be removed or updated if a site changes, ownership cannot be verified, a badge is removed from a free listing, or new risk signals appear.
Spam-like submissions
Submissions may be rejected for spam-like behavior, excessive repeated links, misleading claims, unclear ownership, or attempts to bypass manual review.
Problem reports
Users can report suspicious links or listing concerns. Reports are reviewed manually and are not published automatically.
